Green Onyx Panels by StonePly

Green Onyx is a translucent banded stone that is most often used with StonePly translucent. By slicing the Green Onyx into thin slabs that are bonded to glass or clear acrylic, lightweight thin slabs are produced. Green Onyx is ideal for lighted applications including backlit bar tops and fronts, illuminated columns, light fixtures, ceilings and feature walls. A unique feature of StonePly translucent is the ability to use a thinner and larger piece of onyx than would otherwise be possible. This allows better light transmission, easier installation and stronger panels. Ballistic (bullet proof) translucent onyx panels can be created using glass and polycarbonate lamination. StonePly translucent Green Onyx can be used with the stone facing either out or in. On exterior applications the onyx can be protected by the glass layer from the weather (in window applications). On interior applications, the onyx can be faced out for interior semi protected locations. At StonePly we have many years experience in illuminated bars, walls, columns and panels. We are always happy to work with lighting specialists, designers, architects and contractors to assist with the details of the lighting design.
