Colorado Yule Marble Panels by StonePly

Colorado Yule Marble is a bright white marble defined by a clear, open surface with fine gray veining that ranges from faint, wispy lines to slightly more pronounced linear traces. The composition remains restrained and cohesive, with subtle tonal variation that adds depth while preserving an overall sense of clarity.

On exterior elevations, Colorado Yule Marble can be used to establish a continuous surface across building facades or integrated wall systems where a clean, uniform appearance is desired. Interior applications may include vertical surfaces such as gallery walls, transition spaces, or enclosed volumes, where the quiet veining allows the material to read consistently without competing with surrounding elements.

A thin layer of Colorado Yule Marble is bonded to an aluminum honeycomb backing as part of the StonePly system, creating panels with a uniform thickness while significantly reducing overall weight. This construction allows the stone to be incorporated into vertical assemblies with greater flexibility, while maintaining the original surface character and material integrity.

You are probably more familiar with marble than you realize. From Michelangelo's mighty carrara marble David, to the intricately carved cenotaphs of the Taj Mahal, to the royal Marble Arch of Buckingham Palace, marble has been the stuff of civilized architecture and art for centuries. Being a form of limestone, it is softer than granite, making it more susceptible to deterioration and wear but a simple, regular maintenance routine will keep marble looking beautiful.

Marble has a soft, sophisticated aura. Small interior spaces will especially benefit from marble's less "busy" feel when compared to granite thanks to its large, flowing veins.

Certain marbles can be “book matched,” meaning the edges of two panels are paired to create a mirror image. Book matching's effect is best expressed on large panels.
