Galala Marble presents a soft beige base with warm undertones ranging from pale cream to light sand. Subtle fossil inclusions and diffused mineral concentrations create a naturally mottled appearance across the surface. Fine tonal variation moves evenly throughout, giving the stone a quiet depth while maintaining an overall uniform and balanced character.
Across larger building elevations, Galala Marble can be used to establish a calm, continuous surface in exterior wall cladding, panelized façade systems, or broad infill sections where minimal contrast is desired. Interior use may take a more expansive approach, extending across uninterrupted wall fields, enclosing vertical cores, or defining perimeter conditions within open-plan spaces, allowing Galala Marble to create a cohesive, low-contrast backdrop.
Within the StonePly system, a thin layer of Galala Marble is bonded to an aluminum honeycomb backing, forming a panel with consistent thickness and reduced overall weight. This approach reframes the stone as a lighter cladding element that can be integrated into wall assemblies with greater flexibility, while maintaining the natural surface variation and tonal softness of Galala Marble.

You are probably more familiar with marble than you realize. From Michelangelo's mighty carrara marble David, to the intricately carved cenotaphs of the Taj Mahal, to the royal Marble Arch of Buckingham Palace, marble has been the stuff of civilized architecture and art for centuries. Being a form of limestone, it is softer than granite, making it more susceptible to deterioration and wear but a simple, regular maintenance routine will keep marble looking beautiful.
Marble has a soft, sophisticated aura. Small interior spaces will especially benefit from marble's less "busy" feel when compared to granite thanks to its large, flowing veins.
Certain marbles can be “book matched,” meaning the edges of two panels are paired to create a mirror image. Book matching's effect is best expressed on large panels.
