Bellagio Limestone is a soft ivory limestone with a fine, even matrix and dispersed fossil fragments throughout the surface. Small shell inclusions and subtle mineral speckling create a lightly textured field with gentle tonal variation. The overall appearance is consistent and quiet, with a pale, matte surface that reads clean and uniform across the slab.
Exterior use may extend to articulated façade zones, horizontal transitions, and secondary building volumes where a light, consistent material is carried across the envelope. It can also be incorporated into architectural surrounds and recessed wall conditions that require a controlled surface with minimal variation. Within interiors, Bellagio Limestone is suited for vertical applications such as feature walls, wall cladding in gathering spaces, and defined architectural volumes in commercial and institutional settings.
A thin layer of Bellagio Limestone is combined with an aluminum honeycomb backing to create a panelized system that is notably lighter than traditional dimensional stone. This construction method allows the stone to be utilized in vertical cladding assemblies while retaining the visual continuity and surface qualities expected of limestone.
