StonePly Elevator Cabs
StonePly Elevator interiors provide the beauty and durability of natural stone with the lightweight of aluminum honeycomb.
Perfect for new elevators or for giving existing elevators a new look. Stoneply elevator interiors install quickly and easily with minimal effort. Select from real granite, marble and travertine on aluminum honeycomb or lightweight composite panels, or for translucent applications, onyx, alabaster or marble on glass or resin. The stone surfaces are available with polished, honed, etched, flamed or custom finishes. The versatility of StonePly lets you carry the elevator cab interior finish out into the lobby with matching stone wall panels. If you already have stone in an existing building, we can match the elevator cab panels with the same stone. StonePly, the world’s premier supplier of lightweight real stone panels, offers you the stone selection, quality material and dependable service you need for your elevator projects.
Advantages
- Durability
- While other elevator cab materials may scratch, cut or warp, StonePly keeps its classical good looks. The natural durability of stone that makes it an ideal material for floors makes it ideal for walls in high traffic areas like elevator cabs.
- Timeless Beauty of Stone
- Select from thousands of natural stones. Whether a granite, marble, travertine or other stone, you select it and we fabricate it into lightweight panels for your elevator. You can match the walls of your elevator cabs with the flooring or wall panels in the lobby. Select the stone finish you want: polished, honed, flamed, scored, sandblasted or etched.
- Non-combustible
- Made from natural stone and aluminum, StonePly is a non combustible product.
- Lightweight
- StonePly reduces the load on your elevators mechanical equipment. StonePly weighs about 3.2 lbs per sq ft. That is about 80% less than the weight of solid stone and about the same weight as ¼" glass or ¾" MDF or particle board.
- Dimensionally stable
- Unlike wood based materials, StonePly will not warp or rot from humidity. Panels stay straight and flat on the elevator wall.
- Strong
- 60x the impact resistance of a 1" granite slab. The strength of StonePly and the ability to flex without breaking make it ideal for elevator interiors.
- StonePly Elevator surrounds and elevator lobbies
- The StonePly exterior of the elevator can look as good as the interior.
- Precut Panels
- StonePly lightweight stone elevator panels can be precut to your specific sizes. The panels can have attachment hardware pre installed to accommodate client attachment points and reduce cost and time in the field. In addition, the aluminum backing allows you to field attach Z clips with screws to the back of the honeycomb and stone panel. This is an important benefit that others do not provide.
